This is a very special clarinet. I'm reluctantly selling it because I've moved to a different brand, and no longer need a C. But for the special player looking for a C, this is the best C I've ever played. The scale is amazing - it is truly in tune! The sound is rich, responsive, warm, and resonant. There's a sweet focus and a full body which allows you to mix up your colors by choice. You can make this clarinet sound more like a Bb or more like an Eb - on demand. It is flexible, yet offers a solid sound and stable response, making very easy to use.
It has been beautifully set up by Tim Clark. The upper joint has his amazing cork pads which are elegantly beveled for ventilation. And the bottom joint has standard fish skin pads for secure response, and depth of sound.
I will be sad to see this go. It was made during the mid-80's, it hasn't been played much, and it has much life to give. This instrument wants to be played!

And since C clarinets like mouthpieces tuned a bit on the sharper side - by that I'd suggest using a Bb mouthpiece that's setup to tune at A=442, so I can be of service here. I've got a Vintage mouthpiece option which is 442, and purchased with this instrument, you'll get a discount.
