2.  We hand finish every Prescott mouthpiece - We make sure the siderails, tiprail, and baffle blend properly for utmost response, blowing refinement, and tonal attributes.  We play test them and we check them for highest level professional performance needs.

Prescott Bass Clarinet mouthpieces produce a warm, rich, and deep sound that is at home in the orchestra or in the band. 
 
Designed for a darker sound,  it doesn't produce  the typical reed buzz that big open and flat baffled bass mouthpieces - so common today - tend to produce.  It does however produce a warm and rich voice with comfort and ease.   And since the rails aren't super wide, you still get good resonance, response, and blowing freedom -  it's  pleasingly clean, rich, deep, and powerful sounding.
 
The Prescott Bass Clarinet Mouthpeice is perfectly suited for a medium strength reed, it's got a Medium facing for players of most every genre's needs.   
 
We suggest BEHN BRIO strength 2.5-3.5 reeds and ARIA strength 2-3.5 reeds.  With that, you'll be the hero in your group.  It's Easy!
