This OLD Selmer clarinet mouthpiece was made right in the sweet spot of the early Mid Century era of table stamp mouthpieces.  It came to me as an HS** and it was tight and open feeling to play so I closed it down...sadly the table stamp disappeared in the process but rest assured - this mouthpiece now plays better than original.  The facing I carefully applied is a 1.05mm tip with a 18mm length.  It is very easy blowing, super responsive and resonant.  This mouthpiece plays great, it sounds true to the Vintage ideal of the era, and in the right hands - a good player will find the right reed for this mouthpiece making for an highly unique sound which will turn heads...in a good way.  Ha!  It has so much resonance, you can play anything with this mouthpiece, from orchestra to jazz.  It is highly versatile.  This is a truly great mouthpiece and it offers a fantastic opportunity to get into the Vintage ideal without the fuss.  It plays great, it was selected with scrutiny, and it offers that wonderful resonance that the old Vintage mouthpieces produced and most modern mouthpieces do not.  This one won't last long.  It is a splendid player!
