The ReedGeek Plaque and Gauge Set provides a quick and easy way to check if your reed has warped causing an unbalanced or asymmetrical vibrational system. The way it works is very similar to how many mouthpiece makers measure their mouthpieces for a proper facing length and balance.
 
How it works: Place the plaque against your mouthpiece's table, and drop the .002" feeler gauge between the plaque and your mouthpiece. Evaluate for balance and length to see if your mouthpiece-reed relationship is true.
