These are fantastic instruments.  They were my "end game" set, ready for the rest of my career, however in the last moment I moved to another brand.  These instruments sit in the best years of the "Golden Era".   Some modern Buffet instruments are very good - they've got a lovely sound and a lovely scale; Tosca and Tradition for example.  But the old gems such as this set offer additional resonance, lively response, and sounds which are full with life, character, and enthusiasm.
 
For less than the cost of a new set of R13 clarinets, you'll get a fantastic pair of instruments set up with Wolfgang Lohff's "silent pads".  Their actions have been beautifully regulated for a light and secure touch.  The Bb has been silver plated by Wolfgang, and the A has excellent original nickel plating.  Both instruments are ready to go.  Just put them together and play - that's all.  No fuss.
